August 2017 Roundup

August 2017 was a great month for me, even though most everyone was returning to school. The Junior Olympics track meet where I became 30th in the nation in the 3000m run finished up on the 9th, and we were home on the 10th. That whole Kansas JO trip was great and was outlined in a blog post I have on my other website. My brother and I then went to a Foreigner concert with our friends Davidson and Jackson. It was a great concert by a great band and a fun night. Around the middle of the month we went to the Devil’s Tramping Ground, and that was a great trip with a jarring ending. It was such an eery place. Getting ready for school, my family went to a food truck festival in Greenesboro and that was very fun and had an energetic atmosphere. My brother and I got bacon sandwiches while my other brother and my mother got asian food. We also got some personal cheesecake for dessert, which was great. Starting school was very smooth, and overall I am loving 9th grade. I asked Abby Lemons to homecoming and she said yes, which was great. September looks like it will be a great month with Destiny 2, IT, and The Killer’s new album, “Wonderful Wonderful”. So August was pretty awesome and I look forward to September
